About Us
The miniature Shetlands were an addition in 2022 to our already established Welsh Mountain Pony Stud. We are based in Mid Wales on our 50 acre farm.
RAYMOND :- I have had a passion for horses all my life and have been involved in many equine disciplines from Pony Club to Racing. (I successfully owned several Point to Pointers which we retired from in the year 2000 when we moved to Wales from the South east of England
MICHAEL :- Has naturally followed my passion and has become the perfect partner, which helps feeds my addiction. Between us we have bred many Welsh Section As until 2022 when the stud changed track to miniature Shetland ponies, l must confess, mainly to manage our ages and being less agile than we were. The Welsh Section As have played such a huge part of our lives and now will live their days out happily grazing in our paddocks.

To help you find a pony that fits your goals, we've provided a general guide to our prices range. These figures reflect the pedigree, confirmation and future potential of each foal.
While these ranges provide a starting point , our priority is ensuring each pony finds a set up that they can thrive in. If you have any specific budget or a particular foal in mind we're happy to discuss with you directly
FILLIES :- £1300 - £1500 up to a maximum of £2000
COLTS :- £1000 - £1300 up to a maximum of £1800

This handsome energetic, independant little colt has all the makings of being a top class show pony or a future stud stallion. He is correct in every way.
Rarely does a colt of this quality come up for sale with his fantastic breeding you have to see him to believe it! he has an good bone and stands in a fabulous outline.
He loves people and other ponies and currently is totally independant of mum when out in the paddock with others,
He will be SA tested, innoculated have his microchip done, registered with the Shetland society.
He lifts his feet already for the farrier, and leads well on a halter.
